Artist’s Statement
“To search, to find, and to create the true, the good, and the beautiful.”  I make photographs to convey truth and beauty through color, composition, and content.  I create or capture passing moods and decisive moments to evoke a powerful emotional response.

Chris is an Orlando, Florida, live-action, architectural, advertising, and editorial photographer named Southern Photographer of the Year for his editorial and advertising work including clients such as IBM, McDonald’s, Disney, Nike, Regal Marine, and publications Architectural Digest, Time, Forbes, and Smithsonian.  He studied view-camera and darkroom technique with Ansel Adams, Morley Baer, and Paul Caponigro. He has photographed fine art for The Smithsonian Institution, The Armand Hammer Collection, and the Los Angeles County Museum. His photographs are included in public, private, and corporate collections and public installations, including Orlando International Airport and the Orange County Convention Center.  Chris has served as President of the Central Florida chapter of the American Society of Media Photographers. In addition to photography, Chris is also an accomplished screenwriter-director-producer with feature film and episodic television credits. He has taught film and photography at UCLA, the Corcoran Museum of Art, and now at Crealde.
