IAAPA Brass Ring Awards for 2 Local Parks

Legoland Florida and Busch Gardens theme parks have won 2014 Brass Rings Awards, presented during the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) gathering at the Orange County Convention Center. We want to extend our congratulations to them both.

Legoland, which opened in Winter Haven in 2011, won in the games and retail excellence division. Its “Build a Mini” program won in the category of hard goods for parks with more than a million in attendance.

Busch Gardens in Tampa won the Heart Beat Award for its “Angels of Peace” show, which falls under the live entertainment excellence category. The park’s “Kinetix 2014” won for best sports show.
