AIA Orlando 2015 Design Award Winners

Out of 52 submissions, an independent jury has selected 10 projects as Excellence, Honor, Merit and Honorable Merit award winners. Some of this years wins are for projects in other states, by our local firms, demonstrating as in former years, that Orlando architects are sought for their expertise in courthouse, healthcare and municipal building design.  The esteemed projects show an adeptness at infusing modernism with intricate detail on fenestration, structural expression, surface texture and massing.

Through design competition, AIA Orlando and its members help to promote quality design, innovation, and excellence throughout the Central Florida community and beyond. By reviewing the winners, it seems the judges preferred crisp modern designs to other styles, and many of the other submissions while passed over by the judges are exceptional projects as well. We will be reviewing the winners below in detail in subsequent posts. Please add your email in the right sidebar menu to follow us. You will only receive one or two emails links a week, to let you know of our new posts. Thanks for your support.
