OFA ART SHOW

The Orlando Foundation for Architecture will be hosting the 2nd Annual OFA Art Show, which will take place at the AIA Annual Conference and Expo. The show will be open to the public in the hotel lobby, all-day as last year, during the Expo in the adjacent conference center. A champagne reception will culminate the show with announcement of the winners.

 

As the Orlando Foundation for Architecture promotes public understanding and appreciation of architecture and design, art with a theme related to “Architecture and Design” is encouraged, but not required. There will be a silent auction, open during the day, for the art. OFA Members receive a discounted entry fee. Artist may choose to donate all the proceeds of the sale to the OMA, 50% of the proceeds, or none, (keeping the proceeds or listing the piece as NFS ’not for sale’). Some of the entries with the “Architecture and Design” theme will be selected to be exhibited during an OFA event at the Orlando Art Museum. The OFA reserves the right to limit the number of entries at both events based on available space.

ART SHOW HIGHLIGHTS

  • Online Show/Hybrid Show provisions are planned in case Covid19 issues continue

 

ARTIST RULES AND GUIDELINES

  • Artists to fill out application and submit photos by August 30th

  • Artist may submit up to two (2) works of art

  • 40x60 max size artwork, including frame

  • All pieces need to be properly wired for hanging

  • Artists are to submit jpeg photos of all artwork to be exhibited to debbie@aiaorlando.com. The name of the photo should be the same as the title of your artwork

  • Artist will receive payment within 4-6 weeks of the sale date

  • All applications are non-refundable

  • All artwork must be delivered to the Sheraton Orlando North between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. on October 21st (the day before the show).

  • All pieces need to be taken home at 6 p.m. at the close of the show, unless selected for additional showing at the Orlando Museum of Art

  • OFA does not provide insurance and will not be responsible for lost, stolen and/or damage art. Artists will be required to insure their own art

  • The artist gives permission to use their name, images, appearance and artwork for all marketing purposes
