The Orlando Foundation for Architecture works with a number of businesses and organizations to develop and provide programming, education, and events to promote public understanding and appreciation of architecture and design. Our goal is also to introduce the design professions to students to discover WHY DESIGN MATTERS.
BAM Orlando's goal is to entice, excite, and encourage the younger generation of color, and those who identify as such, to pursue a career in architecture. We seek to accomplish this by hosting focused workshops, site visits, and hands – on development. In addition, BAM aims to offer internships and scholarships for architectural education, to promote diversity in the architectural community, and to encourage public awareness and appreciation of the built environment.
The mission of the Friends of Casa Feliz – to protect, operate and maintain the integrity of the Casa Feliz Historic Home Museum and its collections; to educate the public on the life and legacy of noted architect James Gamble Rogers II; and to engage the public through education and advocacy for the purpose of preserving and promoting the community's rich architectural, historic and cultural heritage – is timelier now than it ever has been.
Grace Arts Center's mission is to create and connect three distinct areas of general programming resulting in more extensive cultural collaborations and revitalization of South Florida communities through the arts and humanities. Projects feature cultural exhibits (including visual art and film projects), multidisciplinary performances and urban design engagements by leading Innovators to entertain, educate and extend services annually to communities with less access to liberal arts content and experiences.
