About The Event
See a number of the historic buildings and learn the story behind the 1927 plan that created the vision we see embodied in the campus today. Repeatedly voted the most beautiful campus in the United States, its loggias and covered walkways link Neo-Renaissance and Mediterranean Revival buildings set on quadrangles and small courtyards to capture breezes.
The campus contains Knowles Chapel by revered architect Ralph Adams Cram, and a number of buildings by Richard Kiehnel which demonstrate his desired execution of the campus plan he authored. You will get to see a few buildings by noted Winter Park architect James Gamble Rogers II and his firm RLF among others.
Meeting Place: From the Rollins Garage use the crosswalk over Fairbanks, it leads directly between Crummer Business School and Bush Science Center. The tour group will assemble between the two buildings.
