The OFA has created this first Holiday Keepsake Ornament to help keep the story of pioneering female architects Isabel Roberts and Ida Annah Ryan alive. They had an all female firm here In Orlando in the 1920’s.

The ornament is a miniature replica of the prairie style lantern that was on the First permanent Lake Eola Bandstand designed by the two architects. The lanterns were at the edge of the bridge on each side of the gate. It comes in a box for gifting, which includes a booklet describing the bandstand, the two architects, and their career in Orlando.
