Emeril Lagasse Foundation Kitchen House & Culinary Garden
26 E. King Street, Orlando, FL 32804
In this interactive Building Tour our guests learned more about this beautifully designed 3,500 square foot space that inspires people to live a healthier and more enjoyable lifestyle. The Emeril Lagasse Foundation Kitchen House & Culinary Garden is the first of it's kind in the United States and was built from the ground-up specifically to give children an edible education experience.
The building won the Built Award of Honor for 2018 from the Orlando Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. Supported by AdventHealth Central Region’s Design & Construction Department, the building was designed by local architect Jose Venegas of JJV Studio in collaboration with HuntonBrady Architects. Other team members included TLC for MEP and Structural Engineering; Poulos & Bennett Civil Engineering; FosterConant Landscape Architects, and E2Homes Contractor. Members of this talented team will be on hand to facilitate the tour, as well as Chef Kevin Fonzo will be in the kitchen.
