The Orlando Foundation for Architecture hosted the 2nd Annual OFA Art Show, which took place at the Orlando Museum of Art. The art show was open to the public according to new safety guidelines set by the Orlando Museum of Art (OMA).

As the Orlando Foundation for Architecture promotes public understanding and appreciation of architecture and design, art with a theme related to “Architecture and Design” was encouraged, but not required. The OFA hosted an online auction through our website running for two weeks before the show, for the art indicated for sale.

  • People’s Choice Award

  • Artist participation is open to the public

How do we initiate a culture in architecture studios that allows students to share experiences, raise awareness, and promote understanding in their college experience? Equity in 2020 requires more than a Diversity Statement. Administrators and Students come together to discuss how we create accountability for inclusion that brings a significant change to the mindset of traditional studio settings on college campuses.

The building won the Built Award of Honor for 2018 from the Orlando Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. Supported by AdventHealth Central Region’s Design & Construction Department, the building was designed by local architect Jose Venegas of JJV Studio in collaboration with HuntonBrady Architects. Other team members included TLC for MEP and Structural Engineering; Poulos & Bennett Civil Engineering; FosterConant Landscape Architects, and E2Homes Contractor. Members of this talented team will be on hand to facilitate the tour, as well as Chef Kevin Fonzo will be in the kitchen.
