AIA Florida Gets National Recognition

As AIA Florida’s leaders celebrated the 2014 Component Excellence award for the mobile application and AIA Miami’s Diversity Award for their Architects in the Making Camp at last week’s Grassroots Conference, the state contingent got a pleasant surprise as AIA Florida EVP, Vicki Long, CAE, Hon. AIA Florida was called back to the stage.
Unbeknownst to AIA Florida members and staff, Vicki was selected from an elite group of executive directors of the more than 300 AIA components as the sole recipient of the 2014 AIA National Service Award.
