Orlando Medical Plaza Inc. wants to build a bridge, a key component of a planned $18 million 85-room Hotel, across Orange Avenue from the ORMC hospital. The hotel project would be built in two phases. The bridge would be for hotel guests only; it wouldn’t be open to the public.

Dr. Tom Winters, who runs a sports medicine and orthopedics practice, is a managing member of Orlando Medical Plaza, a group of investors who own two medical office buildings on South Orange Avenue.
