The former Spanish Oaks Apartments and Golfview Apartments on the southwest corner of North Park Avenue and Whipple Avenue are expected to be torn down in the next few weeks, which will make way for the 10-unit, “ultra luxury” townhome development dubbed Park Hill.
Slocum Platts Architects have designed Park Hill to include 4,200-square-foot, three- and four-bedroom units in three-story buildings with elevators, two-car garages, private entrances and private terraces. Tall windows, cut stone detailing and tile roofs provide a sense of elegance, befitting a Winter Park address.
Private townhomes with higher density and less yard maintenance continue to increase in popularity in central Winter Park due to proximity to shops and dining within walking distance of this and other recent projects.
